Your Markdown notes, hosted in France
The second brain of your team powered by Many Notes, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your notes stay on our French servers — and remain portable Markdown files, never captive.
What is Many Notes?
Many Notes is a web-based note-taking application in Markdown, open-source and self-hostable, designed for simplicity. Notes are stored both in the database and as Markdown files on disk, ensuring total data portability.
The advanced Markdown editor features auto-save, multiple vaults per user, a tree-view explorer, links, backlinks, and tags to connect notes, templates, as well as PDF export and full vault import/export. Search relies on the Typesense engine, which is fast and typo-tolerant.
Regarding collaboration and access, Many Notes offers multiple user accounts, real-time change broadcasting, PWA support, and extended SSO/OIDC authentication (14+ providers, including Keycloak, Authentik, Authelia, Zitadel, Pocket ID). Built on Laravel (PHP) and Vue.js, under the MIT license, it relies on SQLite or MySQL.
