What is MantisBT?
MantisBT (Mantis Bug Tracker) is a mature, open-source bug and ticket tracking tool extensively battle-tested. Written in PHP and backed by a MySQL/MariaDB database, it offers a simple and reliable web interface to centralize bugs, requests, and tasks, without the overhead of large project management suites.
Each project has its own categories, status workflows, custom fields, and role-based permissions. Tickets accept attachments, establish relationships between them, and feed a roadmap, while email notifications and RSS feeds keep the team informed in real time.
Regarding integration, MantisBT supports LDAP / Active Directory / SSO authentication, exposes a REST and SOAP API, and connects to version control systems. Lightweight and stable, it deploys as a Docker container on sovereign infrastructure where all your projects remain under your control.
