What is Mafl?
Mafl is a self-hosted homepage (dashboard), minimalist and flexible, that aggregates and organizes links to your services and applications on a single customizable page. All configuration is done in YAML, with no database required.
Services are displayed as interactive cards with real-time status checks, grouped by categories and tagged with colored labels. Mafl offers built-in themes (light, dark, sepia, deep…), a wide range of icons (simple-icons, mdi, custom), multilingual support (over 10 languages), and works as an installable PWA.
Regarding privacy, all requests to third-party services pass through the backend rather than directly from the browser. Built on Vue 3 / Nuxt and Tailwind CSS, under the MIT license, Mafl has a lightweight footprint. Without native authentication, it is ideally placed behind a reverse proxy with an authentication layer (Authelia, Authentik) for secure access.

Do I need to know how to code to use Mafl?
No. Configuration is done in YAML, a highly readable text format: just a few lines are needed to declare a service. DINAO can also set up your initial dashboard for you.
Does Mafl protect access with a password?
Mafl does not include native authentication. DINAO systematically places it behind a reverse proxy with an authentication layer (Authelia/Authentik) to secure access — essential for a GDPR-compliant offering.
Can I see if my services are online?
Yes. Mafl offers interactive cards with real-time status checks: a quick glance is enough to spot any service that is down.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Requests to your services go through your instance's backend, never directly from the browser.
Can I install it on my phone?
Yes. Mafl is a Progressive Web App (PWA): you can install it like a native app on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
