Your large-scale metrics, hosted in France
A distributed time-series database powered by M3DB, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your monitoring metrics stay on our French servers — long-term storage, Prometheus compatible.
What is M3DB?
M3DB is an open-source distributed time-series database, originally created by Uber to store monitoring metrics at very large scale and over long retention periods. Written entirely in Go with no external dependencies, it has proven itself in production by ingesting over one billion points per second.
M3DB integrates naturally with existing observability ecosystems: it accepts ingestion in Prometheus, StatsD, and Carbon formats, and responds to PromQL and Graphite queries. Its embedded inverted index accelerates label-based searches, while its aggregation engine handles downsampling to optimize long-term storage.
Its optimized compression — up to approximately 11× — makes retaining months or years of metrics economically viable. Distributed, replicated, and designed for horizontal scaling, M3DB deploys as a cluster on sovereign infrastructure where your infrastructure and production metrics remain fully under your control.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Does M3DB replace Prometheus?
No, it complements it. M3DB serves as long-term, highly scalable storage behind Prometheus, via remote write. You keep your Grafana dashboards and PromQL queries.
Why choose M3DB over an observability SaaS?
For sovereignty and cost: your metrics stay in France on your cluster, with no per-data billing or dependency on a US vendor.
Where are my metrics stored?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your monitoring data never leaves the territory.
How long can I retain my data?
Depending on your plan, from a few months to several years. M3DB's compression makes long-term retention economically viable, even at large volumes.
Can I scale my cluster?
Yes. M3DB is distributed and designed for horizontal scaling: DINAO adds nodes and adjusts sharding as you grow.
