Sovereign authentication for your apps
The open-source Logto identity and authentication infrastructure, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your user accounts and identities stay on our French servers — a sovereign alternative to Auth0.
What is Logto?
Logto is a modern open-source identity and authentication infrastructure, positioned as an alternative to Auth0, Cognito, or Firebase Auth. It covers all major standards : OIDC, OAuth 2.1, and SAML, social login, MFA, and passwordless, with ready-to-use login flows and a customizable interface.
Designed for SaaS, it integrates multi-tenancy, enterprise SSO, and role-based access control (RBAC), and provides SDKs for more than 30 frameworks (React, Next.js, Angular, Vue, Flutter, Go, Python…). It also supports AI agent architectures via the Model Context Protocol.
Built in TypeScript on Node.js and backed by PostgreSQL (≥ 14), Logto is distributed under the MPL-2.0 license. Deployed in containers by DINAO in France, it becomes a sovereign identity provider: your user accounts remain your data.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Is Logto a real alternative to Auth0?
Yes. Logto covers OIDC, OAuth 2.1, SAML, enterprise SSO, RBAC, multi-tenancy, and social login — the expected features of a modern identity provider, open-source and self-hostable.
Where are my users' identities stored?
In your instance's PostgreSQL database, hosted by DINAO in France. Your user accounts are not entrusted to a third-party identity provider.
Which frameworks can I integrate?
Logto provides SDKs for more than 30 frameworks (React, Next.js, Angular, Vue, Flutter, Go, Python…), with ready-to-use login flows and a customizable UI.
Does Logto handle multi-tenancy and roles?
Yes : multi-tenancy, enterprise SSO, and role-based access control (RBAC) are built-in, making it a solid foundation for B2B SaaS products.
Can I migrate or export my data?
Yes. Your identity data resides in your PostgreSQL database, exportable at any time — no proprietary lock-in.
