What is Kavita?
Kavita is an open-source, fast and elegant digital library server, designed to organize and read your collection of books, comics, manga and documents from any device. It transforms a simple folder of files into a structured and enjoyable media library.
Kavita supports many formats — EPUB, PDF, CBZ/CBR and images — and automatically organizes your collection using metadata and covers. You can create collections, reading lists, filter and search across the entire library, and instantly find the desired title.
The built-in web reader offers a smooth reading experience on desktop, tablet and mobile, with progress tracking and synchronized bookmarks. Multi-account management, roles and permissions, and an open API (compatible with third-party reading clients) make it a sovereign reading server, shareable with family or team.

This application requires privileged access to the host machine, incompatible with managed shared hosting. It is installed on a dedicated VPS server where you keep full control — managed by DINAO.
