What is jsreport?

jsreport is an open-source server-side report generation server, running cross-platform on Node.js. It dynamically produces documents in multiple formats — PDF, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HTML and other text formats — from templates and your data.

Developers define their reports using templating engines like Handlebars, within a built-in designer that offers live preview. jsreport also provides advanced features: REST API, recurring report scheduling, email sending, user management, and SDKs for .NET and Node.js.

Self-hosted, jsreport integrates easily into your business applications to automate the production of invoices, quotes, reports, and exports. Your templates and injected data remain on your instance, with no dependency on an external generation service.
