What is Jitsi?

Jitsi Meet is a free open-source video conferencing solution, designed to be « safer, more flexible » than mainstream services. It works directly in the browser as well as on mobile apps (iOS, Android, F-Droid), without account creation and without any installation on the participant's side.

The platform focuses on privacy and data protection: 100% open source code, encrypted communications, and the option for end-to-end encryption for meetings. It offers screen sharing, chat, recording, and SIP integration to connect telephony and existing systems.

Self-hosted via the official Docker stack, Jitsi allows DINAO to provide meeting rooms on its own infrastructure, ensuring that audio and video streams remain under control. It is the ideal alternative to closed video services for organizations concerned about their data.

Do my guests need to install software?

No. Your guests join the meeting with a single click from their browser, without an account or installation. Mobile apps are available for iOS and Android if needed.

Is there a meeting duration limit?

No. Unlike free Zoom offers, your meetings are not cut off after 40 minutes. Capacity depends on the chosen tier (participants and simultaneous streams).

Where are the data hosted?

On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your video streams and recordings do not leave the territory.

Are technical skills required?

No for usage: simply share a meeting link. DINAO manages installation, security, and updates. A technical team can still configure SSO and integrations.

Can I change my plan or export my data?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your recordings remain exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
