What is iTop?
iTop (IT Operations Portal), published by Combodo, is an open-source web platform for IT service management (ITSM). It brings together a fully customizable CMDB (Configuration Management Database), a helpdesk system and a document management tool, all aligned with ITIL best practices.
iTop allows you to inventory hardware, software, contracts and services, map their dependencies and impacts, and manage requests, incidents, problems and changes through configurable processes. A self-service portal provides end users with a single entry point for their requests.
Developed in PHP and actively maintained, iTop is highly customizable and extensible thanks to a rich add-on catalog and REST/SOAP web services, making it easy to integrate with your existing monitoring, directory and inventory tools.

On DINAO's French infrastructure, in one of the available datacenters. Your IT infrastructure inventory and tickets never leave the country.
Are technical skills required?
Not for daily use: agents and users work from the web interface. DINAO handles installation, security and updates; advanced CMDB configuration can be managed by your team or by DINAO.
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your data remains exportable (CSV, web services) — no vendor lock-in.
