HumHub is an enterprise social network and an open source collaborative intranet platform. Designed to bring teams together, it adopts the familiar features of social networks — news feed, profiles, thematic spaces, mentions, likes, comments, and notifications — to serve internal communication and knowledge sharing.

Its greatest strength is its modular and extensible nature: you activate only the features useful to your organization through modules — wiki, task management, shared calendar, surveys, file management, knowledge base — and a rich marketplace allows you to go further. Each space has its own members, roles, and visibility rules.

For enterprise use, HumHub offers LDAP / Active Directory and SSO/OIDC authentication, fine-grained permission management, a REST API, and webhooks. Fully self-hostable, it ensures that internal conversations and documents — inherently confidential — remain on your servers in France, under your control and compliant with GDPR.
