What is Grocy?

Grocy is an open-source home management solution, often described as a « ERP for your household ». Beyond a simple shopping list, it tracks your entire pantry, fridge, and freezer, accounting for quantities and expiration dates to concretely reduce food waste.

The tool covers a wide scope: stock management, smart shopping lists, recipes with automatic calculation of missing ingredients, meal planning, as well as recurring chores, battery tracking, and household equipment maintenance. Data entry is accelerated by barcode scanning.

Designed for self-hosting, Grocy works as an installable web application (PWA) on both desktop and mobile, offers a REST API for integrations (home automation, automations), and keeps all your private data private, without dependency on an external cloud service.
