What is GoWA?
GoWA (Go WhatsApp Web Multi-Device) is a self-hosted WhatsApp REST API, written in Go for minimal memory footprint. It connects to your own number via the multi-device protocol and allows you to send and receive messages through simple HTTP calls, from your applications, scripts, or automation tools.
GoWA provides a web interface to manage sessions (QR code scan) and a complete set of REST functions : messages, contacts, webhooks on incoming messages, multi-account support, and connectors to n8n, MCP, and Chatwoot. It is the ideal tool for notifications, OTP codes, system alerts, or chatbots.
By self-hosting with DINAO, you keep your WhatsApp sessions private, escape the limits and per-message billing of third-party gateways, and fully control the routing of your messages and integrations.

What is GoWA used for?
GoWA exposes a REST API connected to your WhatsApp number. You can thus send notifications, OTP codes, or run a chatbot from your applications, scripts, or a tool like n8n.
Do my messages go through a third-party service?
No. On a DINAO managed instance, GoWA directly connects your number to your server in France. No commercial gateway intercepts your messages, and there is no per-message cost.
Where are the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your sessions and messages do not leave the territory.
Do I need technical skills?
Setup (connecting the number via QR code) is simple. Integration with your applications is done via REST calls and webhooks that your developers or automation tools (n8n) can easily use.
Can I change my plan or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your configuration remains portable — no proprietary lock-in.
