What is FreshRSS?
FreshRSS is a self-hosted RSS and Atom feed aggregator that is free and open source. It allows you to follow websites, podcasts, and video channels in one place, and read articles directly within the app, without relying on a third-party service — ensuring full control over your data.
The tool offers search with saved queries, feed creation by scraping external sites, generating new feeds from custom filters, OPML import/export, and WebSub support for real-time updates. APIs allow access from third-party mobile apps.
Known for being lightweight, powerful, and customizable, FreshRSS handles over a million articles and tens of thousands of feeds, offers themes and extensions, and is available in more than 15 languages. It is published under the AGPL 3 open source license.
