Your parametric CAD, hosted in France
The open source parametric 3D modeler powered by FreeCAD, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your drawings and models stay on our French servers — never on a proprietary CAD cloud.
What is FreeCAD?
FreeCAD is an open source parametric 3D modeler, versatile and extensible, designed for the design of real-world products of any size. Its modeling is driven by a build history: modifying a dimension in the model tree automatically recalculates the entire part, making iterative design natural.
Organized into specialized workbenches — Part, Sketcher, PartDesign, FEM (finite element analysis), Path (CAM/CNC), Draft, Architecture (BIM) — FreeCAD covers mechanical engineering, architecture, structural analysis, and many other fields. Its geometric kernel is based on OpenCASCADE, and the entire suite is scriptable in Python.
Fully compatible with open formats (STEP, IGES, STL, DXF, SVG), FreeCAD ensures data portability and integrates into a free toolchain. Under the LGPL license, it offers a sovereign, license-free alternative to proprietary CAD suites.

You might be wondering…
What is FreeCAD?
An open source parametric 3D modeler, designed for mechanical design but also for architecture, electronics, CAM, and FEM simulation. Any dimension modified in the history recalculates the model.
What formats can I exchange?
FreeCAD supports open formats STEP, IGES, STL, DXF, SVG, and many others — no proprietary lock-in, your data remains portable.
How do I access FreeCAD remotely?
Your DINAO instance is accessible via a secure remote desktop or web interface, depending on configuration. No heavy installation on your workstation.
Are my drawings confidential?
Yes. Your models and projects stay on your instance hosted in France, isolated and encrypted. No data is transmitted to third parties.
Do I need a powerful graphics card?
For simple parts, the CPU is sufficient. For large assemblies and rendering, a dedicated GPU is available as an option on higher tiers.
