What is Flagsmith?

Flagsmith is an open source feature flags and remote configuration service. It allows you to deliver code to production behind a switch and enable or disable a feature remotely, without a new deployment, for safer and more gradual releases.

Beyond flags, Flagsmith manages user segments (for beta testing and targeting), A/B testing, role management, and remote configuration of values — you adjust behaviors or parameters without touching the code. SDKs for over 15 languages, a REST API, and webhooks facilitate integration.

Composed of a REST API and a web administration dashboard, Flagsmith deploys as a container and naturally self-hosts. At DINAO, your flags, segments, and user data remain in France, on an isolated and supervised instance — sovereignty rather than an external cloud version.
