What is Evolution Go?

Evolution Go is a high-performance open-source WhatsApp integration API, written in Go and built on the whatsmeow library. It is the Go rewrite of the Evolution API (originally in Node.js): same core functionality — multi-instance management, webhook events, REST API — for a significantly lower memory footprint and startup in under one second.

Thanks to a compiled binary and concurrency via goroutines, a single instance handles thousands of simultaneous connections with only 50 to 150 MB of RAM. Conversation identifiers and data are stored in your own PostgreSQL database, ensuring data sovereignty and zero cost per message.

Designed for developers, SMEs, and integrators, Evolution Go natively interfaces with n8n, Typebot, Chatwoot, and AI services to build chatbots, notifications, customer support, and omnichannel automations.
