What is EspoCRM?
EspoCRM is an open-source web application for customer relationship management (CRM). It brings together contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities, activity tracking, support tickets, and marketing campaigns — with Kanban views, calendar, and a clear sales pipeline — all in one tool.
Built around a REST API and a reactive SPA interface, EspoCRM is highly customizable: custom entities and fields, workflows, roles, teams, and fine-grained ACLs. It integrates with your enterprise information system via LDAP / Active Directory, OIDC SSO (with automatic provisioning), and two-factor authentication.
On the technical side, the backend is in PHP, the frontend in JavaScript/TypeScript, and the database can be MySQL / MariaDB or PostgreSQL. Distributed under the AGPLv3 license and deployable via Docker, EspoCRM is used by tens of thousands of organizations worldwide.
