Overview

What is EmonCMS?

EmonCMS (Energy Monitoring Content Management System) is a web platform open source dedicated to energy monitoring and more broadly to the Internet of Things. From the OpenEnergyMonitor project, it allows you to collect, process, store, and visualize data streams from sensors.

The application receives data via an HTTP API or an MQTT broker, applies processing (scaling, calculations, accumulators), and then saves it into feeds optimized for time series. Fully customizable dashboards display gauges, counters, and real-time and historical charts.

Widely used for monitoring electrical consumption, photovoltaic production, and self-consumption, EmonCMS integrates easily with Home Assistant, Node-RED, and the home automation ecosystem thanks to its open interfaces.
