Your edge IoT gateway, hosted in France
The software core of your industrial gateways powered by Eclipse Kura, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your field data is collected, processed, and routed from our French servers.
What is Eclipse Kura?
Eclipse Kura is a leading open source framework for IoT gateways, built on Java OSGi. It provides a modular platform that abstracts hardware details and offers a unified environment to develop, deploy, and manage edge applications, from a simple Raspberry Pi to powerful industrial gateways.
Kura provides access to gateway hardware interfaces (serial ports, GPS, watchdog, GPIO, I2C…) and integrates ready-to-use field protocols — Modbus, OPC-UA, S7 — to acquire data from PLCs and sensors. Visual flow programming (Kura Wires) allows filtering, aggregating, and transforming this data on-site before publishing it to major cloud IoT platforms via MQTT.
Beyond connectivity, Kura includes an application container, a container orchestrator (Docker/Podman), and even edge AI inference capabilities (NVIDIA Triton models). Deployed and supervised by DINAO, it forms the sovereign foundation of your industrial supervision, keeping your field data in France.

You might be wondering…
What is Eclipse Kura?
Eclipse Kura is an open source framework for IoT gateways, built on Java OSGi. It abstracts hardware, integrates industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, S7), and enables collecting, processing, and publishing field data to the cloud via MQTT.
What equipment can I connect?
PLCs, sensors, and industrial equipment via Modbus, OPC-UA, or S7, as well as low-level hardware interfaces (serial, GPIO, I2C, GPS). Kura serves as a bridge between the field and your platforms.
Can I process data without sending everything to the cloud?
Yes, that is the whole point of edge computing: with Kura Wires, you filter and aggregate data closest to the field and publish only what is useful, while maintaining control over what leaves the site.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your field data never leaves the country.
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your configurations remain exportable — no vendor lock-in.
