Your digital archive, hosted in France
The institutional repository of your institution powered by DSpace, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your publications, theses, and heritage collections remain on our French servers.
What is DSpace?
DSpace is the leading open source platform for institutional repositories and digital archives. Adopted by thousands of universities, libraries, research labs, and heritage institutions worldwide, it enables the collection, preservation, organization, and dissemination of digital content: articles, theses, datasets, images, and heritage collections.
DSpace structures content hierarchically into communities, collections, and items, with submission and validation workflows. It relies on recognized standards — OAI-PMH harvesting, persistent identifiers DOI / Handle, and Dublin Core metadata — to ensure interoperability with major aggregators and research portals in an Open Access framework.
Version 7 and later offer a modern Angular-based interface, faceted search powered by Apache Solr, and authentication via SSO, Shibboleth, or LDAP. Deployed in containers by DINAO, DSpace provides a complete and sovereign solution to showcase your institution's digital heritage.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Who is DSpace for?
Universities, research labs, libraries, museums, and institutions looking to establish an open archive or institutional repository for their publications, theses, and heritage collections.
Is DSpace interoperable with aggregators?
Yes. DSpace exposes its metadata via OAI-PMH, assigns persistent identifiers (DOI, Handle), and uses Dublin Core, making it harvestable by major research portals.
Can access rights be managed in detail?
Yes. DSpace manages communities, collections, submission workflows, and group-based permissions, with SSO, Shibboleth, or LDAP authentication depending on your institution.
Where are the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your archives never leave the country.
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your content and metadata remain exportable (standard formats) — no proprietary lock-in.
