Explore your SQL databases, privately
Drizzle Gateway is the self-hosted version of Drizzle Studio: connect your PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite databases, explore schemas and edit data from the browser — without exposing your databases to a public service. Hosted in France.
What is Drizzle Gateway?
Drizzle Gateway is the self-hostable version of Drizzle Studio, developed by the Drizzle team (authors of Drizzle ORM). It is a web interface that deploys within your own infrastructure and connects privately to your SQL databases to explore and administer them: schema introspection, data visualization and editing, SQL query execution — all from the browser, without exposing your databases to a third-party public service.
Its added value compared to the standard Drizzle Studio lies in the ability to manage multiple simultaneous database connections and containerized deployment. It supports PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite, offers an admin panel with persistent sessions (restored after restart) and runs on arm and amd architectures.
Technically, Drizzle Gateway runs on Node.js and is distributed via an official Docker image (ghcr.io/drizzle-team/gateway), exposed on port 4983, with a persistent volume to retain sessions and configuration. Note: Drizzle Studio is open-source, but Gateway relies on the vendor's licensing system (free trial then subscription) — a point DINAO clarifies with you during deployment.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is Drizzle Gateway?
It is the self-hostable version of Drizzle Studio, the database explorer by the Drizzle team. Deployed on your own instance, it connects privately to your SQL databases to explore schemas, visualize and edit data and execute queries, without exposing your databases to a public service.
Which databases can I connect?
PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite. Drizzle Gateway allows managing multiple simultaneous connections from a single interface.
Does my data pass through a third-party service?
No. Unlike an online studio, Drizzle Gateway runs on your instance hosted in France. The connection to your databases remains private and your data does not transit through a public service.
Is a license required?
Drizzle Gateway relies on the vendor's licensing system (free trial then subscription depending on the number of connections). DINAO assists you with sizing and exact conditions — contact us before deployment.
Where is it hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers, with HTTPS and restricted IP access as an option.
