drawDB is a robust, free, open source database schema editor and entity-relationship diagramming tool. It runs directly in the browser, without heavy installation, allowing you to visually build the structure of a database in just a few clicks.

Thanks to a drag-and-drop interface, you create tables, define their fields, keys, and indexes, then link tables together to materialize relationships. The ER diagram updates in real time, offering a clear view of the data architecture. Once the model is ready, drawDB exports the SQL script for creation across many DBMSs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MariaDB, SQL Server…), as well as in image or JSON format.

The tool also supports importing an existing SQL script to automatically reconstruct the schema — a practical reverse engineering feature for documenting or evolving an existing database.
