Overview

What is Dockge?

Dockge is a Docker Compose stack manager with a modern, responsive, and polished web interface. Created by Louis Lam, the author of Uptime Kuma, it aims for simplicity: editing your compose.yaml files, deploying and monitoring your containers from a browser, without the complexity of heavier tools.

The tool offers an interactive YAML editor, automatic conversion of docker run commands into compose files, as well as real-time log viewing and access to an interactive terminal directly within the interface. Starting, stopping, or redeploying a stack is done in one click.

Dockge can manage multiple remote Docker agents, allowing you to control stacks across an entire fleet of servers from a single console. Lightweight and open source, it stands out as an elegant alternative to Portainer for those who prioritize Docker Compose.

FAQ

You might be wondering…

What is Dockge?

Dockge is a Docker Compose stack manager with a modern look, created by the author of Uptime Kuma. It offers a clear web interface to edit, deploy, and monitor your containers.

How does it differ from Portainer?

Dockge focuses on Docker Compose and readability: direct editing of compose.yaml, docker run → compose conversion, live logs and terminal, all in a lighter and cleaner interface.

Can I manage multiple servers?

Yes. Dockge supports remote agents, allowing you to control stacks from multiple Docker hosts from a single interface.

Where are the data hosted?

On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your configurations never leave the territory.

Can I change plans or export my data?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your compose files remain simple exportable files — no proprietary lock-in.
