What is Crafty Controller?

Crafty Controller (Crafty 4) is a server management tool for Minecraft that acts as a wrapper, controller, and launcher. Completely redesigned, it offers a modern web interface to administer one or more servers from a centralized dashboard, without needing to use the command line.

It supports Bedrock in addition to Java, offers a real-time web console for sending commands, manages the server lifecycle (creation, start, stop, restart), scheduled tasks, and automatic backups of your worlds.

Developed in Python (3.10 to 3.12) and published under the GPL v3+ license, Crafty Controller is actively maintained and appreciated for its clean code. It is the ideal solution for hosting a player community while maintaining full control over your servers and data.

Which Minecraft editions are supported?

Crafty Controller manages Java Edition and Bedrock Edition servers, as well as many server types and modpacks, all from a single web interface.

Do I need to know how to use a terminal?

No. Everything goes through the web interface: server creation, real-time console, command sending, backups, and scheduling. DINAO handles installation and maintenance.

Where is the data hosted?

On the DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your worlds and game data never leave the country.

Can I host multiple servers at the same time?

Yes. Crafty Controller is designed for multi-server use: you manage multiple instances in parallel, with dedicated consoles and backups for each. The number depends on the chosen tier.

Can I change my plan or export my worlds?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your tier at any time, and your worlds remain exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
