Your headless CMS, hosted in France
The API-first content backbone powered by Cockpit, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your content, media, and APIs stay on our French servers — a single back-office for all your fronts, with no dependency on a foreign SaaS.
What is Cockpit?
Cockpit is an open-source headless CMS (MIT license) that structures your content and distributes it via REST and GraphQL APIs, without imposing a presentation layer. It is the ideal back-office to feed a website, mobile app, SPA, or any modern front — React, Vue, Svelte, Next.js, Flutter — from a single content source.
Its modeling is particularly flexible: collections, singletons, trees, and over 20 field types allow you to represent any structure. It also includes asset management with image manipulation, native multilingual localization, full-text search, form submissions, and webhooks.
On the technical side, Cockpit runs on PHP with SQLite by default (no separate database server required), or MongoDB as an option for large volumes. User management, roles, permissions, and 2FA, CLI, content revisions: a lightweight, complete, and vendor-lock-free foundation.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is a « headless » CMS?
It is a CMS that manages and structures your content, but distributes it via API instead of imposing a design. You retain full control over the presentation: website, mobile app, SPA… all fed by the same back-office.
Which front-end frameworks is it compatible with?
All of them. Since Cockpit exposes REST and GraphQL APIs, you consume your content from React, Vue, Svelte, Next.js, Flutter, or any tool capable of calling an API.
Do I need to install a separate database?
Not by default: Cockpit uses SQLite, making it lightweight and simple. For large volumes, we can enable MongoDB. DINAO manages this choice based on your needs.
Do I need technical skills?
Not for writing content: the admin interface is ready to use. For consuming the APIs on the front end, a development team is required. DINAO handles hosting, security, and updates.
Can I change my plan or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your content remains exportable via the API — no proprietary lock-in.
