Manage your charging station network
An open-source charging station management system (CSMS) built on the OCPP 2.0.1 protocol, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your stations, transactions, and charging data remain on our French servers.
What is CitrineOS?
CitrineOS is an open-source platform for electric vehicle charging infrastructure management, built around the OCPP 2.0.1 protocol (and compatible with OCPP 1.6). It provides a modular server runtime to manage a network of charging stations: dynamic message validation, configurable logical modules, and a web interface for operators.
Developed in TypeScript on Node.js, it relies on proven technologies — WebSocket, Fastify, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis — to offer a robust distributed architecture. Incoming OCPP message handling relies on a decorator system that exposes send functions and CRUD access to data entities.
CitrineOS automatically generates an OpenAPI v3 specification, facilitating integration with your billing, CRM, or monitoring tools. The operator interface, built with Next.js and Refine, allows you to manage locations, stations, transactions, and permissions from a single administration point.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is a CSMS and why do I need one?
A CSMS (Charging Station Management System) is the central software that manages your charging stations: authorizations, transactions, monitoring, and session billing. CitrineOS fulfills this role via the standard OCPP protocol.
Are my stations compatible?
CitrineOS supports OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1 protocols, adopted by the vast majority of manufacturers. Dynamic message validation ensures multi-brand interoperability.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your charging and user data never leave the country.
Can I integrate CitrineOS with my existing tools?
Yes. An OpenAPI v3 specification is automatically generated, and the decorator-based architecture facilitates extensions: billing, CRM, energy monitoring.
Can I change my plan or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your data remains exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
