A healthy media library, hosted in France
A corrupted files scanner for your media library, powered by Checkrr and maintained by DINAO. Automatically identify damaged videos, audios, and images — and have them replaced via your *arr tools.
What is Checkrr?
Checkrr is an auto-hosted media library quality control tool. It scans your library (videos, audios, images) to detect corrupted files and, if you wish, automatically replaces them via Sonarr, Radarr, or Lidarr. It targets Plex installations and the *arr ecosystem.
Detection relies on several combined methods: ffprobe analysis, magic number and MIME type verification, and file hashing. A local hash database speeds up subsequent scans by only re-analyzing new or modified files. A read-only mode allows auditing without deleting anything.
Checkrr supports multiple library paths, exports its statistics to InfluxDB 1/2 for long-term tracking, and deploys easily in a Docker container.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What exactly is Checkrr for?
Checkrr analyzes your media library to detect corrupted files (video, audio, image) and, if necessary, automatically replaces them via Sonarr, Radarr, or Lidarr. It targets Plex installations and the *arr ecosystem.
How does it detect a corrupted file?
Through several combined methods : ffprobe analysis, magic number and MIME type verification, and file hashing. A local hash database speeds up subsequent scans by avoiding re-analysis of unchanged files.
Can it be used without deleting anything?
Yes. A read-only mode allows auditing the library and listing problematic files without triggering any deletion or replacement.
Where does the analysis of my files take place?
On the DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your media library analysis never leaves the territory.
Can I track results over time?
Yes. Checkrr exports its statistics to InfluxDB 1 or 2, allowing you to monitor the health status of your library via dashboards.
