Automated and controlled Cassandra repairs
A centralized tool to schedule and orchestrate repairs for your Apache Cassandra clusters, powered by Reaper and maintained by DINAO. Management and monitoring from France.
What is Cassandra Reaper?
Cassandra Reaper is a centralized, stateful, and highly configurable tool dedicated to running repairs for Apache Cassandra, on both single-site and multi-site clusters. Repair is an essential maintenance operation to ensure data consistency in Cassandra, but it is notoriously difficult to orchestrate correctly.
Reaper solves this problem by executing repairs in a segmented manner, opportunistically launching multiple repairs in parallel across different nodes without overloading the cluster. It supports scheduling recurring repairs and offers a graphical interface, a REST API, and a command-line tool.
Maintained by The Last Pickle (under the Apache 2.0 license), Reaper relies on a database containing the complete state of the system. It is designed for teams running Cassandra in production who want to automate and streamline a critical infrastructure task.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is Cassandra Reaper for?
Reaper is a centralized tool that orchestrates repairs for Apache Cassandra. It breaks them down into segments, parallelizes them carefully, and allows you to schedule them—an essential but tedious manual operation.
Does it manage multiple clusters?
Yes. Reaper monitors one or multiple clusters, single-site or multi-site, from a single interface, with a REST API and a command-line tool.
Where are the data hosted?
The Reaper orchestrator and its state are hosted on the DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your data never leaves the country.
Do I need technical skills?
Reaper is designed for technical teams running Cassandra; the interface simplifies orchestration, and DINAO handles hosting, security, and tool updates.
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your configuration remains exportable—no proprietary lock-in.
