Overview

What is Casibase?

Casibase is an open-source enterprise-grade AI knowledge base that combines RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) technology, an enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) feature, and support for a wide range of consumer AI models.

The platform supports ChatGPT, Claude, Llama, Ollama, HuggingFace and many others, and also serves as a MCP (model-context-protocol) and A2A (agent-to-agent) management platform, with an admin interface, user management, and SSO. Casibase uses Casdoor as its identity provider.

Developed in Golang with a separate front-end / back-end architecture, Casibase handles high concurrency, offers a web admin interface, and supports multiple languages. It is a complete solution for building an internal assistant based on company documentation, with the governance expected in a professional environment.

The container hosts the application, not the AI engine (which requires dedicated GPUs) : inference is handled externally, with your own provider key. Prioritize a sovereign engine — Mistral AI, NumSpot, Scaleway, or OVHcloud AI Endpoints (France, GDPR) ; an international provider (OpenAI, Anthropic…) only if a specific capability requires it. Inference subscriptions are not included in hosting.

Casibase is an enterprise AI knowledge base: it combines RAG (answers based on your documents), enterprise SSO, and an admin interface to manage users and access, all with multi-model support.

Can I use my own models?

Yes. Casibase is compatible with many models (ChatGPT, Claude, Llama, Ollama, HuggingFace…). You can host open-source models locally for sovereignty, or connect an external API.

Where is the data hosted?

On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. In local model mode, your documents and conversations do not leave the territory.

Are technical skills required?

No for usage: the interface and web admin are ready to use, and DINAO handles installation, security, and updates. A technical team can configure SSO, models, and RAG.

Can I change my plan or export my data?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your data remains exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
