What is Calibre-Web?
Calibre-Web is a web application that provides access to an existing Calibre library from any browser. Written in Python, it offers a modern and clean interface to browse, read, and download your ebooks, without needing to run the desktop Calibre software.
Beyond simple viewing, Calibre-Web supports mobile usage: an OPDS catalog to feed reading apps (KOReader, Moon+ Reader…), Kobo sync, Kindle delivery, multi-user management, and optional format conversion.
A widely adopted open-source project (under the GPL-3.0 license), Calibre-Web is designed for anyone with an ebook collection who wants to make it accessible online, for family or within an organization, while retaining full control over their files.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your library remains exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
