Database DevOps, hosted in France
A database management and governance platform powered by Bytebase, installed and maintained by DINAO. SQL review, deployment, access control and audit — all on our French servers.
What is Bytebase?
Bytebase is a unified platform for DevOps and database governance. It enables teams to develop, review, deploy and securely audit SQL schema changes and data access within a web collaboration space (graphical interface).
It provides schema change management (planning, SQL review, approval, deployment), a built-in GitOps mode for GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket (review in Pull Request, anti-pattern detection, style guide), a declarative mode with drift detection, and a bb CLI to integrate migrations into an existing CI/CD pipeline.
On the governance side, Bytebase centralizes access control, data masking, just-in-time (JIT) access and immutable audit logs. It also provides an MCP integration to allow AI agents to interact with your governed databases.

This application uses AI
The container hosts the application, not the AI engine (which requires dedicated GPUs) : inference is handled externally, with your own provider key. Prioritize a sovereign engine — Mistral AI, NumSpot, Scaleway, or OVHcloud AI Endpoints (France, GDPR) ; an international provider (OpenAI, Anthropic…) only if a specific capability requires it. Inference subscriptions are not included in hosting.
Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is Bytebase used for exactly?
Bytebase industrializes the lifecycle of your databases : plan, review, approve and deploy SQL schema changes, while governing data access. It is the "DevOps" and governance of your databases, in a collaborative web interface.
Does it integrate with my Git workflow?
Yes. Bytebase offers a GitOps mode with GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket : SQL review is done in Pull Request, with anti-pattern detection and style guide enforcement. A CLI (bb) also allows you to integrate migrations into your CI/CD.
How does Bytebase protect sensitive data?
Through centralized access control, data masking and just-in-time (JIT) access subject to approval. All changes are tracked in immutable audit logs.
Where are my data hosted?
Your Bytebase instance and its metadata are hosted on DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your data never leaves the territory.
Can AI assistants be connected to Bytebase?
Yes. Bytebase provides an MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration allowing AI agents to interact with your databases under the platform's governance. The AI remains external : Bytebase does not run a model, it governs access.
