Your Bluesky identity, hosted in France
Your own personal data server for the decentralized Bluesky network, powered by the official PDS and maintained by DINAO. Your account, keys, and posts remain on our French servers — while federating with the entire AT Protocol network.
What is Bluesky PDS?
Bluesky PDS (Personal Data Server) is the official personal data server for the decentralized social network Bluesky, based on the AT Protocol. Self-hosted, it stores a user's account — credentials, signing keys, and data — while remaining fully federated with the entire Bluesky network.
The PDS allows you to use custom handles on your own domain name, automatically manages TLS certificates via Caddy, and is administered using the pdsadmin command-line tool. An SMTP configuration (Resend, SendGrid…) handles transactional email sending.
Designed for decentralization, it deploys in containers (Docker / docker-compose) via an interactive installation script, and requires a public IPv4, a public DNS, and open ports 80/443 — all of which are handled by DINAO.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What exactly is a Bluesky PDS?
A Personal Data Server hosts your account on the AT Protocol network: your credentials, signing keys, and posts. It keeps your data available and federates it with the rest of the Bluesky network.
Will I still interact with the entire Bluesky network?
Yes. Thanks to AT Protocol federation, your server communicates with the entire network: you can follow and interact with any user, regardless of where they are hosted.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. Your handle can be based on your own domain, which asserts your identity and brand rather than that of a platform.
Where are my data hosted?
On DINAO's French infrastructure, in one of the available data centers. Your data never leave the territory.
Are technical skills required?
No, for usage. DINAO handles installation, TLS certificates, SMTP, and updates. The pdsadmin tool remains available for your administrators if needed.
