The collaborative no-code database, hosted in France
A Baserow platform installed and maintained by DINAO: create databases and collaborative spreadsheets without coding. The open-source alternative to Airtable — your data stays on French servers.
What is Baserow?
Baserow is an open-source data collaboration platform, presented as the alternative to Airtable. It allows you to organize your data, build applications, and automate business processes without coding, while maintaining control, confidentiality, and compliance of your information.
Baserow combines a database builder (structure and manipulate data), a no-code application builder, automations to eliminate manual tasks, and dashboards to visualize information. It offers multiple views (grid, gallery, kanban, calendar, timeline, form, survey), ready-to-use templates, an API-first architecture, and extensibility via front-end and back-end plugins.
Under an open-source license and deployable on-premise, Baserow emphasizes compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and the absence of proprietary lock-in. It is designed for all teams — HR, marketing, finance, sales, operations, IT — who want a powerful collaborative data tool. Hosted on DINAO infrastructure, it ensures your data remains in France.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Is Baserow an alternative to Airtable?
Yes. Baserow offers a collaborative no-code database (grid, kanban, forms, relationships) comparable to Airtable, but open-source and powered by PostgreSQL. Hosted by DINAO in France, it avoids dependency on the American cloud.
What is the difference with NocoDB?
Both are open-source no-code alternatives to Airtable. NocoDB readily connects to an existing SQL database, while Baserow offers a polished all-in-one experience with its own PostgreSQL storage. DINAO guides you based on your use case.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Databases and files do not leave the territory and remain subject to French and European law.
Do I need technical skills?
No. Baserow is designed for business teams: you create tables, views, and forms without coding. DINAO manages hosting, the database, updates, and security; developers can additionally leverage the REST API.
How do backups and restoration work?
DINAO daily backs up the database and files in an encrypted manner, with a retention period of X days. Restoration is performed upon simple request to support.
