Your data notebooks, hosted in France
Explore, visualize and share your analyses in a collaborative web notebook powered by Apache Zeppelin, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your data and calculations remain on our French servers.
What is Apache Zeppelin?
Apache Zeppelin is a web notebook that makes data analysis interactive, collaborative and visual. It allows you to perform ingestion, exploration, visualization, sharing and collaboration around data in a single document, combining executable code cells with Markdown documentation.
Its strength lies in its system of multiple interpreters: Zeppelin natively connects to Apache Spark, SQL via JDBC, Python, R, the Shell and many other compute back-ends. Query results are displayed directly as tables and charts, with dynamic forms to parameterize analyses.
Designed for teams, Zeppelin offers notebook sharing, authentication and access control via Apache Shiro, LDAP/SSO integration as well as a scheduler to run notebooks on a recurring basis — all while remaining fully controlled on your own instance.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is Apache Zeppelin used for?
Zeppelin is a web notebook that enables interactive data analysis, visualization and sharing of results. Data scientists and analysts mix code (Spark, SQL, Python, R) and documentation in a single collaborative document.
Which languages and engines are supported?
Many interpreters: Apache Spark, SQL (JDBC), Python, R, Shell and many others. You can also connect Zeppelin to a dedicated Spark cluster to process large volumes.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your notebooks and datasets never leave the territory.
Are technical skills required?
DINAO manages installation, interpreters, updates and monitoring. Your analysts focus on writing their notebooks and exploring data.
Can multiple people work together?
Yes. Zeppelin handles notebook sharing, authentication, access control via Apache Shiro and SSO, as well as execution scheduling for team collaboration.
