Monitor your applications, hosted in France
Trace, measure, and diagnose your distributed services with Apache SkyWalking, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your traces and metrics remain on our French servers — never with a foreign APM vendor.
What is Apache SkyWalking?
Apache SkyWalking is an APM (Application Performance Monitoring) and observability platform designed for distributed architectures, microservices, cloud-native environments, and containerized infrastructure. It provides a comprehensive solution for collecting and analyzing distributed traces, metrics, and logs from your applications.
SkyWalking enables end-to-end request tracing across all traversed services, automatically maps the dependency topology, and measures latency, error rates, and throughput at the service, instance, and endpoint levels. Alerting features and dashboards facilitate incident diagnosis.
The project offers native agents for numerous languages (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, Go, PHP…) and integrates with open standards such as OpenTelemetry, Zipkin, and Prometheus. For storage, it relies on its BanyanDB database or Elasticsearch, and deploys in a scalable manner to accommodate your system's growth.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is Apache SkyWalking used for?
SkyWalking is an APM and observability platform for distributed applications and microservices. It collects traces, metrics, and logs, maps dependencies, and helps quickly diagnose latencies and errors.
How do I instrument my applications?
Via SkyWalking's native agents (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, Go, PHP…) or via OpenTelemetry. SkyWalking also accepts Zipkin, Prometheus, and eBPF data, without proprietary lock-in.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's French infrastructure, in one of the available data centers. Your application traces and metrics do not leave the territory, unlike foreign SaaS APMs.
Are technical skills required?
DINAO operates the backend (OAP collection, storage, updates, monitoring). Your teams install the agents and use the dashboards and alerts.
What is the difference with a SaaS APM?
With SkyWalking managed by DINAO, your application telemetry remains on French infrastructure and is not sent to a third-party vendor, at a controlled cost and without dependency on a proprietary platform.
