Your Markdown knowledge base, in France
Write, organize, and share your notes with Alexandrie, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your documentation stays on our French servers — never in an American note-taking cloud.
What is Alexandrie?
Alexandrie is a self-hosted Markdown knowledge base, fast and easy to deploy, designed for developers, students, and creators. It allows you to write, organize, and create beautiful notes in a clean, distraction-free interface, with extended Markdown: colored containers, academic blocks, mathematical formulas KaTeX, footnotes, and interactive checkboxes.
As for features, Alexandrie offers full-text search with instant results, organization by workspaces, document sharing, granular 5-level access control per document, PWA and offline support, voice input, and a complete export of all your data in a single ZIP file with one click.
Developed by a French creator and published under an open-source license, the application runs entirely under Docker and deploys with a single command, making it an ideal tool for anyone who wants to maintain full control over their documentation.
