What is AirTrail?

AirTrail is a personal flight tracking system, modern and open source, designed for self-hosting. It helps you track and analyze your air travel history through a user-friendly interface to log your routes, visualize them on a world map, and draw insights from your travel habits.

Key features: visualization of your routes on an interactive map, built-in analytics, and import of your flights from multiple sources — MyFlightRadar24, App in the Air, JetLog, TripIt, Flighty, and byAir. The app offers a responsive design, dark mode, and multi-user support.

Distributed under the GPL v3.0 license, AirTrail installs in minutes via Docker and serves as a sovereign and cost-effective alternative to proprietary flight tracking applications.

Are my movements resold or analyzed?

No. Your flights and statistics remain private on your instance. No data is shared or used for commercial purposes, unlike mainstream flight tracking apps.

Can I import my history from another app?

Yes. AirTrail imports your flights from MyFlightRadar24, App in the Air, JetLog, TripIt, Flighty, and byAir. You retrieve your history without re-entering everything.

Where is the data hosted?

On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your data never leaves the country.

Do I need technical skills?

No for usage: the interface is ready-to-use and responsive. DINAO handles installation, security, and updates. You just need to log your flights.

Can I change plans or export my data?
