Your content, delivered via API, hosted in France
Cockpit is a headless CMS that separates content from presentation: you structure your data once and distribute it everywhere via an API. Installed and maintained by DINAO, on our French servers.
What is Cockpit CMS?
Cockpit is an open source headless CMS, designed to be lightweight, simple, and flexible. Rather than imposing a presentation, it focuses on content management and makes it available to any front-end via a REST and GraphQL API. You remain free to choose the technologies for your websites, mobile applications, or showcases.
At the heart of Cockpit, you model content with collections, singletons, and an asset manager. Each data model is customizable: custom fields, content relationships, structured media. The admin interface is deliberately streamlined to remain fast and accessible to non-technical contributors.
Its minimalist philosophy makes it an excellent foundation for Jamstack and multi-channel architectures: the same content feeds multiple channels without duplication. Cockpit integrates easily via webhooks and installs without unnecessary overhead, making it a popular choice among developers and editorial teams who want to maintain control over their technical stack.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is a headless CMS?
A headless CMS manages only content and makes it available via an API, without imposing presentation. Your website, app, or showcase decides on the rendering itself. It is ideal for multi-channel and technical freedom.
Which frameworks does Cockpit work with?
All of them. Since content is exposed via REST and GraphQL, you can consume it from Next.js, Nuxt, Astro, a mobile app, or any custom code.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's French infrastructure, in one of the available data centers. Your content and media do not leave the territory.
Are technical skills required?
To enter content, no: the admin interface is simple. To connect a site to the API, a technical team (or DINAO) handles the setup.
Can I change my plan or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your content remains exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
