What is BentoPDF?
BentoPDF is a private and open-source PDF toolbox that runs entirely client-side: no server processing, your files never leave your browser. The project's philosophy is resolutely "privacy first" — manipulate, edit, and transform your PDFs without entrusting your documents to an online service.
The tool brings together over a hundred functions: merge multiple PDFs into one, extract pages or split a document, reorder, duplicate, or delete pages via simple drag-and-drop, rotate pages, and convert Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files into optimized PDFs.
Designed as an alternative to Adobe Acrobat, BentoPDF is free, open-source, and self-hostable. Advanced processing modules are loaded on demand, allowing all features to work out-of-the-box while keeping the core application lightweight.

Where is the data hosted?
