WriteFreely is an open source blog platform, minimalist and distraction-free, entirely focused on writing. Its Markdown editor bans ads, trackers, and clutter, leaving only the text for a sober and calming writing experience.

Designed to be federated, WriteFreely supports the ActivityPub protocol: your posts can be followed directly from Mastodon and the entire Fediverse, without relying on a proprietary platform.
