Your collaborative whiteboard, hosted in France
A real-time team whiteboard powered by WBO (Whitebophir), installed and maintained by DINAO. Your sketches and brainstorming sessions stay on our French servers — never on a foreign cloud service.
What is WBO (Whitebophir)?
WBO (Whitebophir) is an online collaborative whiteboard that allows multiple people to draw and annotate together in real time on a shared surface. Designed for simplicity, it opens in a browser without any client-side installation or account creation : simply share a board's URL to collaborate instantly.
The tool offers a palette of essential drawing instruments : freehand pencil, line, rectangle, ellipse, text, and eraser. Every change is immediately broadcast to all participants, and the board state is preserved on the server : you can pick up your diagram exactly where you left it from one session to the next. Multiple independent boards can coexist, each identified by its own shareable URL.
Lightweight and performant, WBO is built on a Node.js architecture and is released under the free AGPL-3.0 license. This simplicity makes it an ideal service for self-hosting : it runs on a modest instance while supporting numerous simultaneous sessions, ensuring controlled costs and complete control over your content.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Do I need to create an account to use a board?
No. WBO works without registration: you share a board's URL and your guests join it immediately. You can still restrict access to the instance if you wish.
Are my drawings saved if I close the tab?
Yes. The state of each board is persistent on the server: you will find your strokes, shapes, and texts on your next visit, as long as the board exists.
How many people can draw at the same time?
Depending on your plan, from fifteen participants to an unlimited number per board. Since WBO is very lightweight, it supports numerous simultaneous sessions on a modest instance.
Where are the data hosted?
On the DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your boards never leave the territory.
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your boards remain exportable — WBO is open source (AGPL-3.0), with no proprietary lock-in.
