Your reading later, hosted in France
A bookmark manager with archiving powered by Shiori, installed and maintained by DINAO. Save articles to read later — your content stays on our French servers.
What is Shiori?
Shiori is a bookmark manager with reading later and archiving capabilities, written in Go, designed as a simple and sovereign alternative to Pocket. Distributed as a single, lightweight binary, it can be used via a clean web interface or from the command line.
Its strength lies in offline archiving: Shiori keeps a copy of the saved pages' content, ensuring your articles remain accessible even if the original site disappears. Tags, search, clean reading view, and bookmark organization complete the experience.
Compatible with SQLite, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, featuring a browser extension and a REST API, Shiori integrates easily into your workflow. Hosted by DINAO in France, it becomes a durable, private, and fully controlled personal reading library.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
How does Shiori differ from a simple bookmark manager?
Shiori doesn't just store the URL: it archives an offline copy of the page content. Even if the original site disappears, you keep the article readable. It's a sovereign alternative to Pocket.
Are my archives truly mine?
Yes. Everything is stored on your instance hosted in France. No third-party service that could shut down, change its terms, or exploit your reading habits for advertising purposes.
Where are the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your bookmarks and archives never leave the territory.
How do I save a page easily?
Via the browser extension, the web interface, or the API. DINAO handles installation and updates; you just need to save what you want to read later.
Can I import from Pocket and export my data?
Yes. Shiori allows you to import and export your bookmarks (including from a Pocket export or bookmark files), without proprietary lock-in.
