What is OpenProject?

OpenProject is an open source self-hosted project management platform, presented as a sovereign alternative to tools like Jira or MS Project. It covers the entire project lifecycle: planning, execution tracking, collaboration, and reporting, in both traditional and agile modes.

For planning, it offers interactive Gantt charts, milestones, dependencies, and critical path tracking. For agile, it provides Kanban boards, backlogs, sprints, and story points. It also includes time tracking, cost and budget management, a wiki, document management, and project forums.

Designed for enterprise, the platform supports SSO/OIDC, LDAP/Active Directory authentication, a full REST API, webhooks, and numerous integrations. Deployable in containers, OpenProject allows you to centralize the management of all your projects while maintaining full control over your data.
