Notifuse is a modern, open-source, and self-hosted emailing platform, positioned as an alternative to Mailchimp, Brevo, Resend, and Listmonk. It covers two use cases in a single product: transactional email (sent via REST API: order confirmations, password resets, alerts) and marketing email (newsletters, campaigns, broadcasts).

For creation, Notifuse offers a drag-and-drop visual editor based on MJML components with real-time preview, and a Liquid templating engine for dynamic personalization. Contact management relies on rich profiles with custom fields and activity timelines, complemented by real-time segmentation and A/B testing on subject lines, content, and send times.

Automation is based on event-driven workflows: triggers, wait periods, conditions, and built-in A/B tests allow you to build sequences (onboarding, reminders, lifecycle cycles). On the analytics side: open rates, click tracking, and engagement metrics, with a self-service notification center where recipients manage their subscriptions (useful for GDPR opt-outs).

A key point for a sovereign host: Notifuse does not send emails itself — it connects to the provider of your choice (Amazon SES, Mailgun, Postmark, Mailjet, SparkPost or SMTP). Built in Go (backend) and React (frontend) with PostgreSQL, multi-tenant with isolated workspaces, it keeps all your data with you. Distributed under the AGPL-3.0 license.
