Your shared virtual browser, hosted in France
A full browser running in a container and streamed via WebRTC, installed and monitored by DINAO. Browse together, in isolation — from our French servers.
What is Neko?
Neko is a self-hosted virtual browser that runs in a Docker container and streams to the user via WebRTC. It allows you to run a full browser in an isolated server-side environment, enabling secure and private web access from anywhere, for one or multiple users.
Compared to solutions like Apache Guacamole or noVNC, Neko provides smooth video (WebRTC rather than images over WebSocket), integrated audio, and native multi-participant control. It supports many browsers: Chrome, Chromium, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, and Tor.
Born from the need to share a remote browser (co-navigation, watch-party, demonstration), Neko is also suitable for secure isolation (opening risky links without touching your local machine) as well as collaborative work. Lightweight and containerized, it integrates easily into an internal portal.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is a virtual browser like Neko used for?
Neko runs a full browser on the server side, in a container, and streams it to your screen via WebRTC. This allows you to open risky links in isolation, co-browse with others (support, training), or organize shared sessions (watch-party).
Can multiple people use it at the same time?
Yes. Neko is designed for multi-participant use: multiple users can view and control the same browser in real time, with role management (member / administrator).
Which browsers are available?
Depending on the configuration: Chrome, Chromium, Firefox, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera, and Tor. DINAO prepares the image corresponding to your needs.
Where is the data hosted?
On the DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Browsing activity remains server-side and does not leave the territory.
Do technical skills are required?
No for usage: you connect from a simple browser. DINAO manages installation, the container, the domain, HTTPS, and updates.
