Control your hybrid cloud from a single console
An infrastructure management platform powered by ManageIQ, installed and maintained by DINAO. Discover, optimize and control VMs, containers, networks and storage multi-cloud — from a French infrastructure.
What is ManageIQ?
ManageIQ is an open-source hybrid IT infrastructure management platform, sponsored by Red Hat, which allows you to discover, optimize and control heterogeneous environments — containers, virtual machines, networks and storage — from a unified interface. It is organized around four pillars: Insight (discovery, monitoring, reporting, chargeback), Control (security, compliance, alerts, policies), Automate (provisioning, orchestration, IT process automation) and Integrate (CMDB, web services, event consoles).
Its agentless design relies on SmartState Analysis, which inspects the content of VMs and containers without installing anything. The platform connects to a wide range of providers: VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack, oVirt/RHEV, Kubernetes/OpenShift, KubeVirt, plus Ansible and Foreman, and exposes a complete RESTful API.
Technically, ManageIQ is written in Ruby on Rails and relies on PostgreSQL. It deploys as an appliance, in Docker containers or "podified" on Kubernetes/OpenShift, in a distributed and federated architecture that scales. It integrates with your directory via LDAP/Active Directory and SAML, and operates in a multi-tenant mode.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What ManageIQ environments can it manage?
VMware (vSphere/vCloud), AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack, oVirt/RHEV, Kubernetes/OpenShift and KubeVirt, with Ansible and Foreman integration — all from a single console.
Do I need to install an agent on each machine?
No. ManageIQ is designed agentless: SmartState Analysis inspects the content of VMs and containers without installing anything on them.
Where does the platform and my data run?
On DINAO's in France infrastructure. Since ManageIQ is fully self-hosted, your cloud governance and data remain sovereign.
Can I automate provisioning and chargeback?
Yes. The Automate pillar handles provisioning and orchestration, the self-service catalog allows ordering resources with a lifecycle, and chargeback ensures internal billing.
How do users authenticate?
ManageIQ is multi-tenant and integrates with your directory via LDAP/Active Directory and SAML, in addition to its internal role management.
