What is Komga?
Komga is a free library server dedicated to comics, manga, and ebooks. It reads your CBZ, CBR, PDF, and EPUB files directly from your storage, organizes them into series with the correct volume and chapter order, and distributes them via a polished web interface and an OPDS catalogue.
For reading, Komga offers a web reader for comics, manga, and ebooks with progress tracking, OPDS v1.2 and v2.0 feeds compatible with many third-party apps, Kobo and KOReader synchronization for e-ink readers, and a dedicated source for Mihon and Tachiyomi Android apps.
Designed for shared use as well, Komga supports multi-user management with library-specific access rights and age restrictions, a full REST API for automation and third-party tool integration, all easily deployable via Docker.

Komga reads CBZ, CBR, PDF, and EPUB. Your comics, manga, and ebooks are automatically organized into series, with the correct volume and chapter order.
Can I read on my ereader or phone?
Yes. Komga exposes an OPDS v1 and v2 catalogue compatible with many apps, offers Kobo and KOReader sync for e-ink readers, and a dedicated source for Mihon / Tachiyomi on Android.
Are my files secure?
Your files remain on your DINAO instance hosted in France, in an isolated container. Daily encrypted backups and native GDPR compliance, no files transmitted to third parties.
Can multiple people use it?
Yes. Komga supports multiple accounts with library-specific rights and age restrictions — great for families, associations, or reading clubs.
Do I need technical skills?
No for usage: the web interface is ready to use. DINAO handles installation, security, and updates. A technical team can still leverage the REST API.
