What is Kestra?
Kestra is a modern, open-source, declarative workflow orchestration platform. You describe your pipelines in YAML — versioned like code — and Kestra handles scheduling, executing, and monitoring them, with clear visualization of executions and their dependencies.
Designed for data pipelines as well as business process automation, the platform offers more than 600 plugins to connect to databases, cloud services, message queues, APIs, and to run Python, Shell, or Node scripts as well as containers. Workflows are triggered by schedules (cron), events, webhooks, or file detection, with retries, attempts, and fine-grained error handling.
Kestra includes a web editor, an API, secret management, SSO/OIDC, and RBAC. Containerized and scalable (parallel workers), it deploys via Docker, making it ideal for managed and sovereign hosting.
