What is InvenTree?

InvenTree is an open-source inventory management system designed for precise tracking of stock, parts, and components. Built for workshops, engineering offices, and industrial SMEs, it provides a centralized view of your parts catalog, storage locations, and suppliers.

The application core relies on a structured parts database organized by categories, variants, and parameters, complemented by multi-level bill of materials (BOM), work orders, batch and serial number tracking, as well as purchase order and customer order management.

InvenTree is inherently extensible: it offers a full REST API, a plugin system, label and barcode generation, and integrates easily with an ERP, online store, or automation tools. Built on Python/Django, it deploys in containers and is administered via a modern web interface.
