Overview

What is Hi.Events?

Hi.Events is an open source and self-hostable platform for creating, managing and selling tickets for any type of event: conferences, concerts, parties, workshops. It provides a customizable event page builder, several ticket types (free, paid, donation, tiered), custom order forms and an embeddable ticketing widget for external sites.

Payments are processed via Stripe Connect, with management of promo codes, pre-sale access and full or partial refunds. Check-in is done by scanning QR codes (with scan logs), and the organizer has a real-time analytics dashboard, advanced reports (sales, taxes, promotions) and a mass messaging tool for attendees.

Technically, Hi.Events relies on a decoupled architecture Laravel API (PHP) + React / TypeScript SPA, deployed in Docker containers.

You might be wondering…

Is there a commission per ticket?

No. Hi.Events is open source and self-hosted: you only pay Stripe fees on sales, no commission per ticket charged by a third party.

How are payments processed?

Via Stripe Connect: money goes directly to your own Stripe account. DINAO never intermediates the financial flow.

Can I sell different types of tickets?

Yes: free, paid, donations or tiered pricing, with promo codes and pre-sale access. Order forms are customizable.

How is entry managed on the day?

By scanning ticket QR codes, with a check-in log. You track entries in real time from the dashboard.

Can I integrate ticketing into my site?

Yes. A ticketing widget can be embedded on an external site, and webhooks allow connecting Hi.Events to your third-party systems.
